Affinity Diagramming

Affinity Diagramming (or Affinity Mapping) is the process of sorting, grouping (clustering), and classifying large amounts of information and data that you have gathered through a variety of research methods. Affinity Diagramming helps a team understand relationships between groups of information and leads to insights or takeaways’ regarding users’ problems, needs, and desires.
